Terms of Service

Welcome to NiftyPro ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the NiftyPro website at https://niftypro.org/ (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Nature of the Platform

NiftyPro is a paper-trading simulator and educational platform. All trades on the Platform use simulated ("virtual") capital only. No real money is ever involved. The Platform is intended solely for learning and practising options trading concepts.

NiftyPro is not a broker, investment adviser, research analyst, or portfolio manager. Nothing on the Platform constitutes investment advice, a solicitation to trade securities, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument. NiftyPro is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in any capacity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful registration information.
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone.
  • Notify us immediately at contact@niftypro.org if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Educational Content & Simulated Trading

All scenarios, market data, and options prices displayed on the Platform are either historical, simulated, or generated for illustrative purposes. They do not represent real-time market data or guaranteed future prices. Simulated trading results have inherent limitations and do not reflect actual trading outcomes, including the impact of market liquidity, slippage, or execution risk.

Past performance, whether simulated or real, is not indicative of future results.

5. SEBI Risk Disclosure

In accordance with SEBI guidelines, we draw your attention to the following:

  • As per SEBI's study on profit & loss of individual traders in the equity F&O segment (FY 2021–22), 9 out of 10 individual traders in the equity F&O segment incurred net losses.
  • Loss-makers expended an additional 28% of net trading losses as transaction costs.
  • Options trading involves substantial risk of loss and may not be suitable for all investors.

Always consult a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser before making any investment decisions with real money.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, course materials, code, and simulator design, is the property of NiftyPro and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written permission.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Use the Platform in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.
  • Resell or commercialise any portion of the Platform without express written authorisation.

8. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (such as SEBI, NSE, or financial news sites). We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Links are provided for informational purposes only.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NiftyPro and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, or expenses of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive, arising from or in connection with:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, the Platform;
  • Any reliance placed on information, scenarios, prices, or educational content provided on the Platform;
  • Any decisions made, including real-money trading decisions, based on anything seen or learned on the Platform;
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data;
  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Platform.

NiftyPro accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any financial loss, loss of profits, or any other loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) incurred by any person as a result of using this Platform. The Platform is provided solely for educational and simulation purposes. You use it entirely at your own risk.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
